Expertise as Team Leader in implementing international TA projects in Nigeria, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Sudan since more than 20 years.

More than 20 years experience regarding TA projects in writing project reports (inception, progress and final reports according to EU and GIZ rules) drafting work plans, monitoring & evaluation of projects and in drafting papers/ proposals for capacity building issues.

Long-term experience in technical and financial management of international TA projects according to GIZ and EU regula- tions. Working experience according to EDF procedures (Imprest Administrator).

Close co-operation with government authorities in West- and East Africa since 20 years on all levels (community/local, district, region/province/county, national) and in cross- sectoral national and international working committees in the fields of integrated regional planning, rural development and infrastructure with specific reference to the transport sector.

Long-term experience in communication management, fostering inter-institutional relations between partners, clients, representatives on all government levels, International Community (e.g. EU, ECHO, WB, UNDP) NGOs, CSOs and other stakeholders.

Experience in cross-cutting and mainstreaming issues within TA development project context, e.g. disaster risk reduction, environmental impact, gender, health and education.

Experience in designing and holding training and planning workshops for clients (public sector) in the fields of organizational development, PCM, M&E, integrated regional planning and GIS.
